Health Executive Student Association
In 2007, VCU Health Executive Student Association (HESA) was formed with the purpose of unifying the professional organizations in which HADM students have traditionally participated, including: the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), the Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), and the National Association of Student Health Services Executives (NAHSE).  To learn more about how HESA is governed, please visit the MHA Student Leadership section.

American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE)
ACHE is an organization dedicated to the lifelong education of healthcare executives and the advancement of healthcare. Students are encouraged to learn more about the organization and to become Student Affiliates by visiting the ACHE website.

Medical Group Management Association (MGMA)
MGMA is an organization dedicated to helping medical group practice leaders continually improve performance. Students are encouraged to learn more about the organization and to become Student Members by visiting the MGMA website.

Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS)
