What are the Second Modality BS Programs?
The Second Modality BS programs are for certified radiographers who desire to continue their professional education and concentrate in either Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiation Therapy. All programs are full-time.
What will I study?
Once accepted, radiographers with an Associate's degree are admitted as juniors and complete the modified version of the standard curriculum. Radiographers without an Associate's degree completed the modified versions of the standard curricula and must also complete general education requirements. Evaluation of general education courses at other institutions for potential transfer credit is done as part of the application process.
Nuclear medicine Second Modality students are required to complete General Chemistry prior to beginning the program.
Course work in the Nuclear Medicine Second Modality Program includes:
Instrumentation and computer techniques
Nuclear medicine physics
Imaging and non-imaging techniques
Ethics and health care
